As a pediatric physical therapist, one thing I always remind families is that tummy time should be fun and engaging and not a dreaded chore. If your little one is needing some new motivation during their daily tummy time, check out 5 of my favorite infant play items from Ten Little:
Tummy time is a great time to engage your baby’s senses. These sensory teethers will give your child lot’s of new sensations to experience.
The bright colors and patterns on these blocks are sure to catch your baby’s eye. I love that they are nice and soft and easy for baby to manipulate.
Watch your little one’s head lift higher and higher as you stack these rainbows – and pretty soon they’ll be able to reach and knock them over. I love that they’re also safe for baby to grab and put in their mouth.
Infants can see best when images are high contrast, so these cards are sure to be a hit for the newborn tummy time phase. Plus, there’s a nice child-safe mirror included to keep your little one motivated.
And lastly, it’s always great to have a designated spot for baby to practice their tummy time. This rainbow mat is aesthetically pleasing while also offering removable toys that baby can engage with.
